The Seychelles have always been friendly welcoming Islands. They are a chain of the most beautiful islands in the world on the East African Coast in the middle of the WestIndian ocean. Seychelles does not suffer from cyclones, tyhoons or tidal waves, It has an abubdence of natural foods, fertile soil and a plentiful supply of water.
It was over two and half centuries when the Seychelles were discovered by the portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama in the early 16 th century. Later, the islands became settlements.
The Seychelles islands were first named, by the Portuguese, “the 7 sisters” in the 17 th century. TheSeychelles were also often visited by Pirates, it’s also possible that they hid treasure in the granite caves.
In 1742 lazare picault a french man led an expedition landed at what now is called baie Lazare name after the french man. The first french settlers and their african slaves arrived in 1770.
